On the flip side, however, we often find albums on Tidal, Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer that aren't available on Qobuz at all – which we would argue is a far bigger issue. With Qobuz and Tidal flac already there, it would be nice to have Deezer HIFI there as well. As Rolling Stone first reported, the French music streaming service with a unique name (pronounced 'co buzz') just made its US debut.
What sets Qobuz apart from rivals like Spotify or Apple Music? Sound quality, it says. Aimed at audiophiles, Qobuz boasts around 40 million CD-quality songs and 2 million high-res tracks, Rolling Stone reports. While Tidal and Deezer both offer high-fidelity plans, Qobuz says it has more high-res tracks than any other music streaming service.
'With us, expect quality of sound as a given: a consideration that other services often overlook,' the company says on its website.
US users can choose between four Qobuz streaming plans:

'Premium,' priced at $9.99 a month (or $99.99 a year), offers MP3-quality streaming. 'Hi-Fi,' priced at $19.99 a month (or $199.99 a year), offers CD-quality streaming. 'Studio,' priced at $24.99 per month (or $249.99 a year), offers high-res streaming (Deezer and Tidal's HiFi plans are both $19.99 a month). Finally, 'Sublime+,' priced at $299.99 per year, offers high-res streaming and discounts on music purchases.

Meanwhile on the music streaming front, Deezer today announced a new integration with Google-owned traffic and navigation app Waze. Android users can now play music from Deezer right through the Waze audio player. To do that, just select the pink music icon, then press the Deezer logo.
